If you love your skin, do not forget about your lips too!

Before we get started, I would like to let you guys know a little more about me. I’ve never ever once never used any lip balm ever since I’m a teenager. In fact, one of the very first item in my makeup bag is a tinted lip balm. Everyone around me knows that my lips get chapped very easily, hence having a lip balm is a must for me. So let’s jump right into today’s topic, tinted lip balm!

Fresh Sugar Punch Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15

I’ve never love any tinted lip balm as much as this one. This lip balm is my all new holy grails. First of all, it has SPF?! Like seriously? In fact I went ahead and did some research and found out that our lips can get destroyed by the exposure of too much sun, so, a lip balm with spf protects your lips from skin cancer and losing collagen. It’s nourishing ingredients like grapeseed oil which is rich in Vitamin C and E can provide extra protection from harmful UV rays too!

Not only that, I cannot emphasize how much I love the texture of the balm as well as the colour! I feel that my skin tone suits red-orange tone a lot, hence I’m always seen rocking red or orange lipsticks. I personally feel that if you are rushing to leave for work or school, throw on this lip balm and you are good to go! It helps to freshen up and brighten your skin even without heavy makeup on. And plus points are, it stays on even after food and drinks! Highly recommended!

Next,

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm

First of all, Clinique is a very well known brand for it’s skin care line, so I was pretty pumped up when I get to try this lip balm from them. This moisturizing lip balm comes in different shades, so whether you are cool or warm skin tone, there’s definitely something for you. As for the ingredient wise, it contains mango and shea butters which helps to soften your lips.

What I have here is in the shade 01 curviest caramel, usually I shun away from nude lip colour because I believe that dull skin needs bright lips. Anyway, so I decided to try out this colour, and I’m quite surprised at how opaque this colour is, if you are someone who always wears nude colour on your lips, give this a go and you’d be surprised! I feel that the colour is very prominent and also easily buildable, so even if you are just wearing this lip balm only, I feel that it’s fine as well! However, the staying power is not very durable, reapplying is not a big issue anyway.

Lastly,

Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm

This product claims to be able to last 8 hour moisturising your lips and best of all it’s 100% natural. If you are somebody who is vegan maybe you can give this a try! Out of all 3, this product actually looks and feels more like a lip balm. Especially when after I removed the lip balm, I can feel that the lip balm has penetrate into the deeper layer of my skin, like it doesn’t just stay on top, it’s actually moisturizing down to the bottom.

Given that the price point for this product is the lowest, I am pretty surprised at how decent this lip balm is. If you are somebody who likes very thick moisturizing feeling on your lips, then this lip balm is for you. Honestly when I applied it, I felt like I’ve eaten something very oily, but don’t get me the wrong way, it means that it is really thick in consistency and it makes me feel that it’s doing its job by protecting my lips. For price point and also how effective this lip balm is, it is definitely a MUST TRY especially if you have chapped lips easily.

Don’t forget about your lips! It’s as equally as important as your skin!
