Best Toners For Sensitive Skin - By Aylna Neo
A little background story, I’ve been trying these 3 highly raved toners on the internet. And to be honest, I’m a little skeptical about trying new products to replace my all time favourite toner which is the Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Toner but I am amazed at my new found favourite! And if you don’t know what toner is for, it is basically the first step of your skincare routine, PLEASE DO NOT SKIP IT!
FIRST AID BEAUTY Facial Radiance Pads
First up - the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads! This toner really amazes me because it’s unlike the traditional kind of toner which comes in liquid form. It comes in soaked pads which contains Lactic and Glycolic Acids. Both acids are in the AHA group which helps acne-prone skins. I’ve done a bit of research because I have problematic skin due to using of harsh ingredient for my sensitive skin. AHA helps to reduce breakout and also helps reduce fine lines, plus it also helps to exfoliate your skin! And Glycolic Acids treat blackheads, dullness and oiliness. Not only that, this product claims that it is suitable for all skin types even sensitive skin!

After using the product.
Enough with all the technical terms, so here’s my review. Out of the three toners that I’ve tried, I’m most excited about this product! Because not only it helps to exfoliate my skin, my stubborn pimple is gone now! I had a huge pimple on my nose bridge and just using this product for a week without any acne product, it helps to heal the pimple completely! This product is not only highly beneficial, it is also fuss-free and easy to use. It comes in pad forms so it’s really easy to bring around for travelling. I highly recommend everyone to use this especially if you have acne prone skin.

ORIGINS GinZing™ Energy-Boosting Treatment Lotion Mist
Next, I tried the ORIGINS GinZing™ Energy-Boosting Treatment Lotion Mist. Honestly, I feel that the product is like a little “perk-me-up” magic water. The product smells like a combination of orange and pomegranate. This bottle comes in spray format which is very easy for application and it claims to be hydrating and helps to energise the skin.
Personally, I feel that this product is perfect if you like to use facial mist to refresh your skin throughout the day, I’ve been carrying this out for a week, and I feel that whenever I’ve used it, I look a little more radiant. Perhaps it’s due to the ingredients, like coffee beans, ginseng and pomegranate that helps to optimise cell energy to keep me looking vibrant! This product is suitable for all skin types (normal, oily, combination, and dry).

SHISEIDO WHITE LUCENT Luminizing Infuser
Last of the list - SHISEIDO WHITE LUCENT Luminizing Infuser. I’ve saved the best for the last. This is a product that helps to brighten dark spots especially when it’s recommended to be used before and after brightening cosmetic procedures like laser spot removal. It contains Tranexamic Acid which is a brightening ingredient that has been used in a lot of brightening and whitening products. Moreover this product is dermatologist tested and it is suitable for normal, oily, combination and dry skin types.
Since it sound so promising, I was very eager to try it. However it took me longer than expected to see the results. But I am pleased that it does lightened the pigmtations and scars around my cheek area. As for long term effect, I will update you guys again on my Instagram if there’s any better. As for now, it does a decent job in lightning some of my scars.
