5 Tips To Eat Healthier & Look Better in 2018
Sunday, January 14, 2018

A brand new year calls for a brand new diet plan that helps you to lose weight, look better and feel better!

Here are 5 diet changes that you should start to adopt to make 2018 your healthiest year yet.

1. Eat Until You’re 80% Full

You don’t always have to clean your plate. You’re supposed to stop eating when you’re satisfied not when you’re stuffed. It takes around 15 to 20 meals to reset the muscle memory of the stomach to get used to less food, start by cutting down on your food portion and if you still can’t get used to it, increase the portion little by little.

2.  Eat More Early, Eat Less At Night

Consuming more calories during breakfast and lunch compared to dinner ensures that you have enough time to burn all those calories. Eating hearty meals earlier in the day can lead to weight loss even when the same foods and same calories are consumed during night time.

3. Go Meat-Free at Least Once A Week

Eating less meat helps to decrease the risk of heart disease and a plant-based diet helps to boost your intake of different vitamins and minerals.

4. Substitute Artificial & Processed Sweeteners With Natural Sources

Sugar addiction is real! Do you know that consuming artificially sweetened food and beverages will make you feel more hungry and crave for more? Sugar is not only bad for our health, it can also make you feel bloated.

5. Treat Yourself

Having a healthy diet plan doesn’t mean you have to toss away all your favourite chocolates. Don’t deprived yourself! Treat yourself with a small piece of dark chocolate or a small serving of unsalted chips once a day to keep yourself feeling happy and satisfied. Try to opt for healthier options.

If you’re committed to shedding off those extra pounds in the new year, apart from making some adjustment to your diet plan, be sure to work out regularly. You will be one step closer to achieve your goal by incorporating a regular workout regimen.
